Easy to install, easy to use, and reliable
When you need a fast, easy, reliable connection to a Host
Computer, you need a solution from the IBM 3270 Emulation family of
adapters. The 3270 Emulation ISA and PC Card adapters bring host
emulation to desktop and portable computers. These adapters provide convenient
high-speed access to 3270 hosts networks.
When running a 3270 emulation
program, such as IBM Personal Communications,
these adapters effectively turn your PC into an IBM 3278/3279 Display or
3287 Printer. They have an advantage over LAN (Ethernet, Token ring) adapters
since they do not require any special addresses or reconfigurations when the computer
is moved from one location to another.
