Groups (RIGs)
Related Interest Groups (RIGs) have well-defined deliverables
to the AIW (and possibly to other standards organizations) for
networking topics which are related to the goals of the AIW but
are not APPN Architecture.

- Data Link Switching (DLSw)
Birds Of a Feather
groups (BOFs)
"Birds of a Feather" groups (BOFs) are either preliminary
discussions that may lead to the formation of a SIG or work
groups related to the purpose of the AIW but with no specific AIW
deliverable.
